Body

The body always leads us home . . . if we can simply learn to trust sensation
and stay with it long enough for it to reveal appropriate action, movement, insight, or feeling.
Pat Ogden
The body has an essential place in all my treatments.
It already starts with a warm foot bath upon your arrival.
After our first exploratory meeting, the body is of course the first place to explore further.
Liberating tensions, accumulated consciously or unconsciously in organs and muscles, is the main focus.
I have a professional training to Physiotherapist, and moreover I’ve followed programs to specialize further in several manual therapies.
These are the therapies I might use:
· Fascia therapy
· cranio-sacral therapy
· causal feet reflexology
· intuitive acupressure
· deep massage
· connective tissue massage
· intuitive massage
· massage with hot gemstones
· breathing techniques
· bio-energetic techniques
· acupressure
· stretching
· detox treatments
· intuitive education
I became a master in Relaxation.
These techniques will mainly stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomous nervous system. It represents your tranquillity and resourcing, as opposed to the orthosympathetic nervous system which represents action or fight & escape mechanisms.
I can reach this parasympathetic nervous system by applying this rich range of manual therapies as well as via the environment I offer in the rooms.
Smells, colors and sounds provide tranquillity that will elicit inner harmony.
At the same time, our body reflects the inner emotional themes we can fight with. We can build a bridge towards inside, and consider the physical symptoms as guidance systems towards a deeper layer in ourselves. This is how we reach the source of transformation.
